Seeing Todd Huey of Lone Star Boars and Huey Outdoors at SHOT Show was a personal highlight for me this year…We caught up with him at the LWRC booth and had him highlight a rifle he is very familiar with…the LWRC Razorback II chambered in 6.8 SPC. Todd has more experience eradicating hogs than probably anyone on the planet…and 6.8 SPC is one of his favorite calibers for the job.
At a show filled with the latest and greatest, it only felt right to have Todd talk about a rifle he loves…so we had him pick one up and say a few words about it.
Now, before hearing Todd speak about 6.8 SPC a few months back, it was a cartridge I probably would have ignored…and while .308 is still king of the hill when it comes to hogs, if I ever have the good fortune to hog hunt down in Texas, I might just reach for a Six8 Razorback II like the one Todd shows off here.
To hear more from Todd Huey, be sure to check out articles we have done with him in the past about the N-Vision HALO thermal scopes, an overview of thermal scopes on the market, and a guide the best calibers are for hog hunting.
To hear more about LWRC and SHOT Show 2019…stay tuned, as we have another video on the way.
